New Dornik Single
Dornik's website states July 8th as the release date on iTunes. Stereogum also posts a Spotify link that doesn't seem to work on our computer. However, there is a new promo jam from Dornik's long awaited forthcoming self-titled LP on St'Gum as of yesterday, and it's very MJ. Chickity check it:

New Dej Loaf (featuring B-B-B-Big Sean)
She still sounds like a 13-year-old boy. We love it:

R. Ring Touring. Playing with Witch Hair.
R. Ring - featuring Mike Montgomery & Kelley Deal from The Breeders - are going on tour. July 29 is one notable stop on this tour, as they'll be performing with Witch Hair, the new band with Stove Hartlett (from Stove and Ovlov), Joe Russo (from Spectral Fangs) and Ashley Kenney (from LOOM). wtf this happened?

halfway 2015 jams

This is our first time posting a halfway-thru-the-year list. We've never done this before because we kinda hate the idea, and we can't see why all the big bloggers just can't wait another six months like in the old days. But we decided to try it out just this once, for two key reasons: #1 Everyone else is doing it, and we got jealous. And #2 it's been a surprisingly musically rich 6 months. (Especially June. We haven't counted 'em up, but we'd be willing to bet that at least half of these songs were leaked or released during June 2015.)

So we rushed this together in haste. It will probably not at all reflect what Hot Mix 2015 ends up resembling. Also, a lot of these songs haven't technically been released or leaked yet. But we're going for it anyway.

Farrah Future

Seems like a good time to reassess Farrah Abraham's 2012 LP, which still sound ahead of its time.

If the creator(s) of Sad Satan happen to read this, the creepiness of the still in this video would fit right in alongside the Margaret Thatcher and JFK imagery.

Sad Satan

An untitled videogame dubbed "Sad Satan" was located in the far corners of the deep web throughout the past few weeks. Only the person who posted these videos has actually played it. The download link has been too difficult to locate, even by the deep web savvy. It's been described as a "horror game." Not sure what else to say about it that hasn't been said here: http://kotaku.com/a-horror-game-hidden-in-the-darkest-corners-of-the-inte-1714980337
