Update: Found the old "Worst of 1999" Thing (December 1999 version)

This is an addendum to the recent post about Evan Olson.

We didn't have a blog at the time, and so we don't remember the initial purpose or intention of these beyond "killing time," but these were written in December 1999.

For context, at the time, our top 5 albums of 1999 were

The "most overrated" list appears to have at least started as alphabetical, although the #1 is accurate. "I Want It That Way" is not the actual 10th worst by a long shot. It's not even that bad of a song. "So Much Better" for example, is a lot worse. But it's probably the single most undeserved canonization from that year. People love to shit on Bush for having nonsensical lyrics, but BSB gets a free pass.
