"Nothing Much to Lose" is a prime example of a band smart enough to blend pop hooks and guitar power with distinctive sonic textures into a unique concoction that was both groundbreaking and infectious. The track starts with sputtering snare drum rolls erupting against a wall of twisting guitars that are so saturated with effects as to sound otherworldly. -- Allmusic http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=33:hxfqxxesldte
